110 Day Mature
Cotton Candy is the most attractive white pumpkin we have trialed, mostly because of its true, white color. It has a smooth, slightly ridged skin that is actually white. The handles are dark green attached, unusual for a white pumpkin. Store in a dark place to maintain the true white color. Excellent yields.
Planting instructions: Pumpkins grow best in warm, loose, fertile soil. Seeds should be planted after danger of frost has passed. If your soil lacks organic matter, mix a shovelful of manure or compost in each hill. Plant seeds in hills 8 feet apart and thin to 3 plants. To plant in rows, plant 2 seeds every 18 inches with rows 6 to 7 feet apart. Thin to one plant every 18 to 24 inches. Seed should be planted an inch deep. A side dressing of a tablespoon of complete fertilizer per hill when plants vine and again at fruit set will improve production. Watch for pests which will decrease yields. Make sure the plants have adequate moisture and weeds are controlled. Harvest the pumpkins before frost by cutting them from the vine. Store in cool, dry place to maintain their quality for weeks.
