Moulin Rouge Sunflowers have a deep, dark, red flower color. So dark, it's almost black!! My camera had a hard time capturing it's image!! As you can see in the photos, I had to point the flower directly into the sun!!
All seeds were harvested from the actual flowers shown in this listing, which is what you can expect your end results to look like when planted!!
These seeds in particular, were harvested from flowers over 8' feet tall!!

Seed depth: 1/2", Soil Temp. for Germination: 65-75f, Days to Germination: 7-14, Light requirements: full sun, Thin plants to : 10-18" SOWING INDOORS:Sunflowers do not transplant well, however, for best results, start in peat pots and make sure to transplant outdoors before roots emerge out of the bottom of the pot. SOWING OUTDOORS: Sow when soil temperatures reach at least 60f. Thin once plants are established, leaving the strongest looking individuals standing.
