(100 Day) -Novelty warted pumpkins. These are very close to regular carving pumpkins, but they have warts on their outer skin and thei flesh is a bit tougher. Their skin clolor is a unique orange and dark green color when harvested early, becoming fully orange at maturity. The seeds you will receive were harvested from the ACTUAL pumpkins shown in the photos; grown organically right here in the Northwest.-VINES-

 Planting instructions: Pumpkins grow best in warm, loose, fertile soil. Seeds should be planted after danger of frost has passed. If your soil lacks organic matter, mix a shovelful of manure or compost in each hill. Plant seeds in hills 8 feet apart and thin to 3 plants. To plant in rows, plant 2 seeds every 18 inches with rows 6 to 7 feet apart. Thin to one plant every 18 to 24 inches. Seed should be planted an inch deep. A side dressing of a tablespoon of complete fertilizer per hill when plants vine and again at fruit set will improve production. Watch for pests which will decrease yields. Make sure the plants have adequate moisture and weeds are controlled. Harvest the pumpkins before frost by cutting them from the vine. Store in cool, dry place to maintain their quality for weeks.
