This sale is for 20 FRESH CANDY PINK IPOMOEA MORNING GLORY SEEDS
Planting Seeds...
Planting Morning Glory seeds is easy. I soak the seeds overnight to soften them. I push the seeds down into the soil about a 1/4 of an inch. I sow the seeds about 6 inches apart. You do not have to soak the seeds. They do very well just putting them in the soil and keeping them moist for a few days. Soaking the seeds overnight gives them a head start on the moisture they need to germinate. Some people do not have the time to make sure their newly planted seeds stay moist for a few days so soaking them works well for them.
Vine support...
is critical because if a morning glory cannot climb something, it will sprawl over the ground. Glories can climb anything. You can shape the way they grow by training them to grow up string, twine, rope, wood or wire or any kind.
Sunlight...
Full Sun to get the maximum growth from a morning glory. they will grow in partially shaded areas but they will be stunted and will have fewer blooms than glories grown in full sun.
Water...
Don't over water. This plant has evolved to withstand drought conditions so over watering can slow the growth down. It does not require a lot of water. You should allow the ground around the glorie to dry before you water again.
Soil ...
Just as the morning glory has evolved to withstand drought conditions, it has adapted to poor soil conditions. Loosening or tilling your soil is all that is required to help the plant get started. Morning glories will grow in any type of soil. Just make sure it drains well.
Fertilizer...
Since the plant requires little water and adapts well to poor soil, it also requires little or no fertilizer. Fertilizer is not needed for successful plants however if you use a fertilizer sparingly you can bring out the most in a glorie. Fertilize two to three times a growing season.
